DC/DC Converter Designed especially for AS310e, this converter takes input of 6-16Vdc and changes it into 20Vdc output for AS310 to operate from low voltage battery power.

Easy to Carry A low profile and light weight make AS310e and 6-AA batteries easy to carry. Height is 5.5 cm (2.4 inch), width is 8.2 cm (3.25 inch), length is 13.2 cm (7.25 inch), weight including 6-AA batteries is 380 grams (13 oz).

6-AA Battery Box
Includes snap-on lid and 20mm (6 inch) power cable with 2.5mm plug. Batteries are not included. 6-AA 2600maH batteries will power AS310e for about six hours.

Power Connection Input power jack has a 2.5 mm pin and 5.5mm barrel, center pin is positive. This jack can be connected to any DC power supply from 6Vdc up to 16Vdc with 3 watts capacity.

Low Voltage Indicator
The red LED will begin to blink as the battery level gets low, then glow red continuously when it's time to recharge. The low voltage LED is set for a 6-AA nimh/nicad battery pack. Any battery pack, from 6V up to 16V, can power AS310, however, the low voltage indicator will glow continuously if battery voltage is below 6.9 volts, or not glow at all if battery voltage is above 7.1 volts.
Battery Power for AS310e Portables
| AA-size nickle metal hydride (nimh) batteries and chargers are widely available, have high capacity for their weight, and can be recharged up to 1,000 times. 6-AA 2600maH nimh batteries, will power AS310e for 6 hours. 12 volt lead acid batteries are available in higher capacities than nimh batteries. In cases where more than 6 hours of run time is needed, they are the best choice even though they are heavier and more bulky than nimh batteries.
